The Mint Project Capital Campaign
The Mint Project Capital Campaign has the strong support of a diverse group of community leaders, individuals, corporations, and foundations, all committed towards creating a new cultural resource for the Bay Area community. The Capital Campaign will provide the essential funding for all of the construction and restoration of the Mint, including its exhibits, galleries, and related development costs.
Many opportunities are available for prominent recognition of your leadership gift. For example, you may opt to pledge your contribution over a specific time period to lengthen the impact of your gift.
Please contact the Development Department for more information on giving to this critically important Capital Campaign. You can reach us by contacting:

There are several ways in which your contributions can assist the Mint Project:
Planned Giving
Leave your mark on San Francisco history through our planned giving program. Legacy gifts can be made through bequests, charitable trusts, appreciated securities and other methods of financial planning. Gifts are unrestricted unless specifically directed towards the Capital Campaign or the Endowment Fund. We recommend that you consult your attorney, financial adviser or tax preparer to determine the most appropriate option when planning your gift to our organization.
Corporate and Foundation Support
We welcome the sponsorship of local businesses, national corporations, and foundations through direct support, project-based grant awards, in-kind donations and matching gifts.
A range of sponsorship opportunities are available for our public programs, new initiatives and the Mint Project Capital Campaign.
Annual Fund
Support current public programs while we build a new home for Bay Area history and culture at the Mint. Your unrestricted contribution will help the SFMHS present exciting public programs, publications, walking tours, and other special events each year. Visit our current programs and new initiatives for more detail.
Artifacts
The Mint Project accepts donation of objects and archives of historical significance that fall within the scope of our collecting policy. lf you have an item that you are interested in donating, please send a description and photograph of the item(s) to [email protected]. Please note that we are unable to estimate a monetary value for any inquiry. We recommend that you contact an appraisal service for this information.
